Child Development Specialist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a qualified Child Disability Specialist to join our team at The Children's Campus in Abingdon, VA.
The successful candidate will provide immediate assessments of the difficulties within families and determine the correct service provisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Teach specific skills such as child management, independent living, parenting, communication, problem solving, anger control, social planning, etc.
- Support consumers and their families by developing ongoing services and networks.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related fields.
- Registration as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Children.
**Compensation and Benefits**
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a flexible work week. We offer a competitive salary of $48,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including:
