About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Science Specialist to join our team at Bright Sparks Science. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education programs to children aged 5-11 years in local primary schools across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons that cater to the needs of our students
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement science curricula that meet the needs of our students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver training programs for staff and volunteers
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our science programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures related to child safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in science education or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of science curriculum and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
