Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Emergency Duty Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work responses during emergency situations, providing critical support to vulnerable individuals and families in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver emergency social work responses on shifts, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with Assistant Team Managers and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to statutory requirements and council policies.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a degree in Social Work or a related field, with Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in child protection services, preferably in a statutory setting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage competing demands.
