Support Staff for Student Success

Swalcliffe Park School
We are a specialist residential education and care provider for around 70 secondary aged boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our aim is to provide an excellent learning environment that fosters personal growth, social inclusion, and independence.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual who can work effectively with students in various learning situations, both in school and within the community. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different settings and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in classroom activities, homework, and assignments outside the classroom
- Assist students with revision and exam access arrangements
- Observe and record student behavior and learning styles to inform target setting
- Participate in duty and cover rotas at breaks and lunchtimes
- Fulfill key worker roles for nominated students
Requirements:
- GCSE Level education (Mathematics and English at Grade 4 or above) essential
- Experience working with children and young people with Autism (desirable)
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Range: £24,404 - £25,183 per annum. This includes paid school holidays, opportunities for career development, and staff training.
