About the Opportunity
An exciting chance for a skilled sales professional to make a real difference in the field of heavy engineering.

We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our sales team. As a key member of the team, you will have the freedom to shape how we engage with customers and develop sales processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales, preferably within the heavy engineering, shipbuilding, materials handling, or manufacturing sectors. They will also have a deep understanding of engineering and fabrication processes, enabling them to provide valuable insights to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow and maintain an established portfolio of customers, building strong relationships over time.
  • Develop innovative strategies to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and production staff to deliver tailored solutions to customer needs.
  • Identify new opportunities within the existing customer base to drive business growth.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and site visits.

About You:
This role requires a confident and experienced sales professional.
You will already have:
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within heavy engineering, shipbuilding, materials handling, or manufacturing sectors.
  • A strong technical understanding of engineering and fabrication processes, enabling you to add value to customer conversations.
  • The ability to think creatively and contribute to process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
