We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). As a leading NHS trust, we provide first-class acute care for over one million people in Norfolk and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a substantive 8PA consultant post in paediatric gastroenterology, offering a unique opportunity to shape the developments of our well-established unit and contribute to the East of England paediatric Gastroenterology network. The successful applicant will deliver clinical services at NNUH as part of this network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality gastroenterology and nutrition support to inpatients and outpatients in the Jenny Lind Children's Hospital
  • Collaborate with colleagues in paediatric gastroenterology, medicine, surgery, and neonatology
  • Develop closer clinical, research, and training links with Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) as lead centres within the regional paediatric gastroenterology network
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCPCH)
  • Full GMC registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in paediatric gastroenterology or equivalent
  • Demonstrable expertise in upper and lower GI diagnostic endoscopy
  • JAG certification
