Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a global leader in switchgear and associated products, is seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day online documentation process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of documentation using various online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing documentation in line with LDC requirements
  • Liaising directly with end-client Document Controllers
  • Self-managing time-critical documentation
  • Generating and updating project documentation and collating information for reporting purposes
  • Copying, scanning, and storing documents
  • Reviewing and updating technical documents (e.g., manuals and workflows) with direction from the team
  • Distributing project-related copies to internal teams
  • Filing documents in physical and digital records
  • Creating templates for future use
  • Retrieving files as requested by employees and clients
  • Managing the flow of documentation within the organization
  • Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement

Requirements:

  • Ability to converse clearly and concisely with LDC and the team
  • Ability to learn and self-manage online document platforms
  • Fantastic PC, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize own workload and use initiative
  • Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
  • High level of organization and efficiency in methods of working
  • Some travel may be required
