Document Controller

Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a global leader in switchgear and associated products, is seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day online documentation process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of documentation using various online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing documentation in line with LDC requirements
- Liaising directly with end-client Document Controllers
- Self-managing time-critical documentation
- Generating and updating project documentation and collating information for reporting purposes
- Copying, scanning, and storing documents
- Reviewing and updating technical documents (e.g., manuals and workflows) with direction from the team
- Distributing project-related copies to internal teams
- Filing documents in physical and digital records
- Creating templates for future use
- Retrieving files as requested by employees and clients
- Managing the flow of documentation within the organization
- Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
Requirements:
- Ability to converse clearly and concisely with LDC and the team
- Ability to learn and self-manage online document platforms
- Fantastic PC, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize own workload and use initiative
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
- High level of organization and efficiency in methods of working
- Some travel may be required
