Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a leading manufacturer of switchgear and associated products, is seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team in Castle Mills, Kendal. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day online documentation process, ensuring timely and accurate uploads and submissions using various online platforms.
  • Liaise directly with end-client Document Controllers to ensure seamless documentation exchange.
  • Manage time-critical documentation, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Generate and update project documentation, collating information for reporting purposes.
  • Copy, scan, and store documents, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
  • Review and update technical documents, including manuals and workflows, with direction from the team.
  • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams, ensuring efficient communication.
  • File documents in physical and digital records, maintaining a secure and organized system.
  • Create templates for future use, streamlining documentation processes.
  • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to converse clearly and concisely with the team and stakeholders.
  • Capacity to learn and self-manage online document platforms.
  • Fantastic PC, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize own workload and use initiative.
  • Confident under pressure, handling multifaceted objectives.
  • High level of organization, with efficient and thorough methods of working.
  • Some travel may be required.
