Job Summary:

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at the London Array Offshore Wind Farm in Ramsgate, Kent. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the surrounding community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams on health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong HSE culture on site, adhering to HSE standards and rules.
  • Actively participate in and promote a high standard of health, safety, and environmental awareness.
  • Produce and contribute to health, safety, and environment-related documentation required by the allocated offshore operations site and for other UK operation sites.
  • Support and advise line/project management in meeting their HSE responsibility, including risk assessments.
  • Work with the wider HSE team to assist in continuous improvement activities and improve HSE management system processes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a NEBOSH Certificate, ideally working towards a NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Hold a IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • Ideally hold an audit qualification such as ISO 45001/14001 internal auditor.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining a certifiable HSE Management System.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through verbal and written communication.
  • Experience as an HSE professional for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Experience in behavioural safety techniques and delivering behavioural safety training would be desirable.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good health, with general all-round fitness to work in an offshore environment.
