About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Thanet Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with mental health conditions, as well as providing medical leadership and supervision to junior staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Provide medical leadership and supervision to junior staff, including assessing competences and appraising performance.
  • Participate in service and business planning activities, working closely with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Attend and participate in the Trust's academic programme, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD programme.
