Senior Mental Health Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- To conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
- To manage and supervise junior medical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- To participate in service planning and business development activities, working closely with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services.
- To undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including record-keeping and reporting.
- To attend and participate in the Trust's academic programme, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD programme.

Requirements
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Specialist Register.
- Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
