We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our Finance Team at EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL.

Job Title: Public Sector Financial Support Role

The salary range for this position is £30,060 - £33,366 per annum (pro rata) plus a comprehensive benefits package.

This role requires expertise in:

  • Administering accounting software and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitoring and responding to incoming finance queries from Council departments and the public.

To be successful, you will need:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including grade A – C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent numerical, administrative, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work quickly, accurately, and meet deadlines.
