Business Administrator Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on large projects across the UK, focusing on administration and technical skills.

Job Description

The role involves:

  • Creation and posting of customer invoices using Sage 50
  • Credit control activities
  • Monitoring of business mailboxes
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries
  • Issue of customer statements and supplier remittances
  • Creation of supplier POs
  • Scanning and filing of business paperwork

The apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. You will learn skills such as double entry bookkeeping, accounting standards, financial document processing, financial statement generation, and financial information communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with investigation and response to financial information queries
  • Record and analyse financial data using standard tools and processes
  • Apply double entry bookkeeping and accounting standards
  • Assist with production of accurate financial information
  • Reconcile financial data
  • Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Present key financial information using finance and accounting software
  • Use software packages to assist with basic accounting tasks

The training will be delivered virtually one day per week. Completion of the apprenticeship will award a nationally recognised qualification and the opportunity to progress to higher level qualifications.
