ADAS is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the agricultural industry, and we are seeking an experienced Project Administration Support Specialist to join our team in Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent position that will provide a range of financial and project administration support for Project Managers, as well as assist with improving business processes and applying financial controls on projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality control, advice, and guidance to Project Managers on maintaining accurate project data, processing project data amendments, and providing project administration support.
  • Assist Project Managers to register new tenders and projects, and provide quality control of documentation provided by clients.
  • Offer financial and project administration support to Project Managers to assist with forecast monitoring and improve project profitability.
  • Collate and present project data/reports to provide financial support to Project Managers.
  • Seek approval from Project Managers for raising and issuing sales invoices to clients, checking that invoices are issued correctly, including complex multi-currency projects, and chasing up Project Managers on overdue and due invoices.
  • Identify projects causing concern and highlight project profit erosion.
  • Contribute to improving business processes and applying financial controls for all projects on the financial system.
Person Specification:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working with business management information systems.
  • Prior internal purchasing/project administration experience would be beneficial.
  • Show good data accuracy and attention to detail, with a high level of numeracy and IT skills.
  • possess high-level keyboard and computing skills using MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Demonstrate well-organized and efficient time management, along with confident and professional communication skills.
  • Show self-motivation and ability to work without supervision.
