About the Role

We're seeking a skilled 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join our team at Air IT Limited. As a key member of our Technical Team, you'll be responsible for handling escalated service requests and providing top-notch support to our clients.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls to the Service Desk, prioritizing tickets to ensure technical queries are resolved quickly and customers remain satisfied.
  • Monitor clients' IT systems via our monitoring software to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

About You

  • You'll need previous experience in an IT helpdesk support role, with a strong understanding of various IT systems.
  • Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10, as well as Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016, are essential skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2012, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013, and Windows Backup software is highly desirable.
  • You'll also need experience in setting up and supporting mobile devices, as well as a UK driving license.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent are required.
