Job Title: 1st Line NOC Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 1st Line NOC Engineer to join our team at Air IT Limited. As a 1st Line NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and prioritize incoming NOC tickets and notifications
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, customer contacts, or internal departments on NOC tickets
  • Take ownership of tickets, seeing them through to resolution or escalating where appropriate
  • Monitor the performance and capability of computer systems using diversified tools
  • Maximize network availability by monitoring performance and troubleshooting network degradation and outages
  • Ensure backups are correctly set up and monitored
  • Assist in weekly/monthly patching schedules
  • Ensure critical and security updates are installed at regular intervals
  • Maintain a library of Knowledge Base articles for known issues and best practices

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in IT support
  • Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with the latest Microsoft technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to administer and support Windows desktops
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
  • Evidence of continued professional development
