Human Resources Business Partner Role at Lucy Group
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to play a pivotal role in supporting and aligning HR initiatives with the strategic goals of the Lucy Group organisation. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to partner with business managers and leaders to understand their objectives and provide relevant strategic HR inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop meaningful relationships with managers in the business and other people teams in the organisation.
- Work closely with the HR Centres of Excellence to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the businesses you support.
- Take the time to understand business needs and strategy, communicating and delivering HR policies, processes, and initiatives in collaboration with the centres of excellence.
- Deliver well-defined job roles and organisational structures to managers to help them build strong performing teams with the skills needed to drive the business forward.
- Be proactive in building mutually respectful relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating excellent influencing skills.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, translating them into actionable strategies and initiatives to drive organisational success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on business partnership.
- Excellent understanding of Employment Law to support Employee Relations activity.
- Evidence of delivery of Change Management and Organisational Design programmes.
- Digital acumen and the ability to analyse Management Information and use for practical outputs.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from around the business.
What We Offer:
- A full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- A hybrid role as per our Working Arrangements Policy, with regular travel to Sowerby Bridge and Newcastle Upon Tyne.
