Role Overview

Commodities People is a business events company specializing in commodities and energy trading. We're a fast-growing, global organization with a friendly, experienced team working remotely across Europe, America, and Asia.

The Role

This is a new business sales role, primarily focused on selling sponsorship and partnership packages to vendor company prospects in technology, consulting, and financial services. You'll be required to research and understand the commodity and energy trading sectors, particularly to grasp the mechanisms of our core sponsor categories.

Responsibilities

  • Originate opportunities and leads through research and outreach
  • Pitch and develop proposals for sponsorship and partnership packages
  • Closing business and managing client relationships

Requirements

  • Clear motivator to succeed in a remote work environment
  • Strong self-management skills and experience
  • A highly proactive nature, with the ability to conduct research and outreach
  • Fluent English speaker with strong verbal and written communication skills
