Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Durham County Council. As a key member of our Business Services team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal customers regarding goods received and receipt using Oracle.
  • Monitor notifications and take necessary actions.
  • Cover annual leave and provide lunchtime cover of face-to-face reception duties.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in providing a range of administrative duties.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Working Arrangements

Durham County Council operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part-time roles and arrangements are at managers' discretion.
