Job Description

We are seeking an IT Application Support Specialist to provide technical support for our business-critical applications.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in an IT support or application support role with proficiency in Linux and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, Group Policy, and authentication services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line support for internal and external business applications
  • Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and security
  • Assist with software upgrades, patches, and application deployments

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of supporting business-critical applications/troubleshooting in a complex environment and operating within security/GDPR regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices (incident, problem, change management)
  • Ability to read and interpret logs in applications such as Elk and Kibana or NewRelic and an understanding of databases, SQL, C#, or other languages
