About the Role

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our People team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in driving employee relations and workplace conflict resolution across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including discipline, grievance management, poor performance, and attendance.
  • Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage and develop the performance of the Employee Relations team, including setting performance standards and conducting regular feedback sessions.
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of complex employee relations cases, including those involving medical and senior staff.
  • Support the Head of Employee Relations in the management of Employment Tribunal claims and Freedom of Information Requests.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in employee relations, preferably in a healthcare or public sector setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective employee relations strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
