About the Role

Southern Water is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our Waste Water Treatment Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in the frontline of our day-to-day maintenance of, and repairs to, waste water treatment works, sludge treatment centres and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience to ensure we remain compliant, reduce pollution and ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefits of our customers.
  • Identify potential issues and implement solutions, or escalating if required.
  • Provide technical expertise to Internal and External contractors.
  • Work in a constantly changing environment, adapting to the pressures of work and being resilient.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ qualified (Multi - Electrical & Mechanical)
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of pumping station operation and the wastewater treatment process.
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver.
