Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall delivery of multi-family and single-family neighbourhoods, aligning their efforts with company objectives, metrics, and policies. We need a technically proficient individual who can assist with phased handovers and escalated defects and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by performing reactive and proactive maintenance tasks as directed by the Property Manager.
- Joinery, minor plumbing, and maintenance works, painting, and decorating.
- Planned maintenance tasks, including testing of systems and recording all tests.
- Waste management services, including bin rotation, weekly pull-outs, and returns.
- Maintain cleaning standards on site, including jet washing, cleaning, and litter picking.
- Ensure health and safety on site, including removing trip hazards and reporting all faults.
- Key holding and access management.
- Participation in an on-call rota.
- Preparing homes during the resident move-in/out process.
- Preparation and clean-up of amenities for resident events.
- Reporting and recording all maintenance tasks using systems provided.
- Supporting parcel delivery and management of deliveries to site.
- Procurement of materials and supplies.
- Replenishing supplies and maintaining accurate records of equipment on site.
- Consistently deliver a high-quality service standard to residents and all visitors.
- Respond to resident queries within given standard operation procedures as allocated.
- Carrying out trace and detect of reported maintenance.
- Provide informed and accurate information to residents where required.
Requirements:
- Multiskilled to a high quality in painting, decorating, basic plumbing, joinery, and minor maintenance.
- Technical understanding of building fabric, construction methods, and MEP systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A strong team player who is happy to assist others to achieve a team goal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-turnover environment with accuracy and consistency.
- A can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile.
- Able to work on own initiative and take responsibility for providing solutions.
- Excellent customer relations skills, a sense of humour, and plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
- Proactive and dynamic, taking ownership of all core duties.
- Experienced in working to targets.
- Able to deliver multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.
- With training, able to use property management software packages and I.T.
- Professional presentation, confident, and outgoing nature.
- Well-organised and able to problem-solve.
- Act with integrity and professionalism.
