We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our Waste Water Treatment Team at Southern Water. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our wastewater treatment works, sludge treatment centres, and pumping stations
  • Utilising electrical knowledge and experience to ensure compliance and reduce pollution
  • Maintaining operational sites and introducing solutions for continuous improvements
  • Providing technical expertise to internal and external contractors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 NVQ qualification in Multi Skilled - Electrical or Mechanical
  • An in-depth understanding of pumping station operation and the wastewater treatment process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
Compensation

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £35,704 to £42,844 per annum, plus additional payments for standby and overtime opportunities that may increase earnings to up to £10,000 per year.
