Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Gather, input, and analyze data across all business activities to track our carbon footprint and sustainability targets.
  • Sustainability Strategy: Support the implementation of our scope 3 strategy and ensure our supply chain is aligned with our environmental targets and values.
  • Document Management: Maintain our document database and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders and key suppliers to promote our sustainability initiatives and ensure they are aligned with our environmental targets.
  • Audit Support: Support preparation for internal and external audits, including ISO 14001, and capture and track actions.
  • Sustainability Awareness: Promote awareness of the impact of business decisions on the environment and support policy reviews and legislative updates.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date on sustainability trends and support business sustainability initiatives.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce Board reports and project updates using data gathered, and provide active support at our Sustainability meetings.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Must have strong analytical and numeracy skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and Organized: Proactive with ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines with a high level of quality assurance and due diligence.
  • Strong Prioritization Skills: Strong prioritization skills to be able to manage a varied workload.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Carbon Footprint Experience: Experience of carbon footprinting.
  • Sustainability Experience: Experience working in a sustainability-focused role would be advantageous.
  • ISO 14001 Experience: Experience of ISO 14001.
