Job Title: Finance Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Finance Administrator to join our team at Ashton Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and financial tasks, including data entry, document control, invoicing, and liaising with the finance and commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter financial data into our systems.
- Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial documents and transactions.
- Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients and contractors.
- Liaising with Finance and Commercial Team: Collaborate with the finance and commercial team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- General Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions.
- Computer Literate: Proficient in using computer software and systems for financial tasks.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues and clients.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Minimum 6 Months Experience: Previous experience in a financial or accounting office.
Desirable Criteria:
- 2 Years Experience: Previous experience in a financial or accounting office.
- Knowledge of Construction/Utilities Industry: Familiarity with the construction or utilities industry.
- Experience with Xero Software: Proficient in using Xero accounting software.
