Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Blue Arrow. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales ledger, allocating remittances, credit notes, and journals to ensure ledgers are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Advise and resolve account queries electronically, providing excellent customer service.
  • Create and issue invoices promptly, on a daily basis, to ensure timely payments from customers.
  • Manage cash sales, prepare statements, and prepare lodgements for banking.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties, including data input, filing, and general office duties.
  • Control petty cash and ensure adequate stationery supplies.
  • Complete month-end closures in a timely manner.
  • Administer and set up new customer credit account applications.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English, and ICT.
  • Minimum intermediate level MS Excel, with experience in exporting CSV and report formatting.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Accounting technician qualification or part-qualified.
  • Experience using Intact system.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £27,000-£28,000 per annum, negotiable, and a range of benefits.
