Finance Administrator Job Description

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our client's team in Newtownabbey. This is a permanent position with a competitive rate of pay of £25,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and document control
  • Invoicing and liaising with finance and commercial teams
  • Dealing with contractors and subcontractors, including completing CIS Returns
  • General administrative duties, including processing timesheets
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with VAT returns and end-of-year accounts
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a financial or accounting office
  • Desirable: 2 years' experience in a financial or accounting office, knowledge of the construction/utilities industry, and experience using Xero software
