About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate trains safely and efficiently, ensuring the well-being of passengers and crew.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rail service standards, focusing on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and fun experience for passengers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service, addressing passenger queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in safety-critical activities, adhering to strict protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety.
  • Engage with passengers, providing information and assistance to enhance their travel experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a qualified train driver or conductor, with a strong safety record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow protocols and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to safety.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and nights, with varying start and finish times.
