**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Cancer Care Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a challenging role that requires expertise in cancer care, pharmaceuticals, and aseptic procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical prescribing services for cancer patients under clinical supervision. They will also collaborate with the accountable pharmacist for the unlicensed Aseptic Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to ensure compliant aseptic medicines delivery.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to contribute to the provision of outstanding care to cancer patients. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical teams to provide pharmaceutical care, manage medicines-related risks, and ensure compliance with trust policies and legislation.

The estimated salary for this position is £62,000 - £83,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to excellent benefits, including generous annual leave entitlement and pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain clinical prescribing services for cancer patients under clinical supervision.
  • Collaborate with the accountable pharmacist for the unlicensed Aseptic Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to ensure compliant aseptic medicines delivery.
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to cancer patients, working closely with clinical teams.
  • Manage medicines-related risks and ensure compliance with trust policies and legislation.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in cancer care and aseptic procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
