Cancer Services are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join them in supporting the Trust in achieving and sustaining the cancer targets within the Urology and Breast speciality. This is an exciting role within the Trust that will make a real difference to suspected and confirmed cancer patients. Excellent organisational skills will be required to ensure that patients are tracked and their progress is monitored. This will be done by using a variety of hospital electronic data systems.

The role of an Admin Assistant Navigator within the cancer services team is to ensure accurate and timely data collection and escalation against cancer patient pathways. The Assistant Navigator works alongside Cancer Patient Pathway Navigators within Urology and Breast and liaise with members of the MDT to facilitate effective MDT meetings, accurate recording of data, and ensure appropriate communication between individuals and departments involved in the management of cancer patient pathways. They are expected to cover the Cancer Navigator in times of absences, and be a crucial part of the ongoing management of cancer data with ever changing requirements.
