Job Description
As a Cancer Patient Pathway Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and supporting multiple cancer patient pathways. You will work closely with various departments within the Trust and other hospitals to ensure that all necessary documentation is available for the MDT meetings. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential in providing core services to ensure that comprehensive lists of patients are formulated and accurately recorded on the Somerset Cancer Register (SCR).
Main Duties:
• Coordinate MDT meetings and support multiple cancer patient pathways
• Liaise with departments within the Trust and other hospitals
• Ensure accurate recording of patient discussions on the Somerset Cancer Register (SCR)
• Provide administrative support to the Cancer Services team
Requirements:
• Educated to a minimum of HNC/Diploma level or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology and IT systems
The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
