We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supported Living Manager to join our team in South Powys. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring that individuals with complex needs receive high-quality support to live a fulfilling life.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with mental health and communication needs, as well as a learning disability. You will be skilled in developing and implementing person-centred support plans, health plans, and behavioural support plans, and will work closely with families and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans, health plans, and behavioural support plans
- Work closely with families and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Manage external and internal relationships, and have the resilience to support your team through difficult situations
- Assess and implement practice development, and help involved parties through processes of change
- Minimum QCF level 3 or equivalent
- Either hold or commit to achieving level 5
- Commitment to ongoing personal development
- Sound IT skills and ability to learn new online platforms
- Reliability and flexibility, with a full driving licence
- Holiday scheme with annual leave starting at 22 days, plus Bank Holidays
- One additional day of leave on your birthday
- Occupational sick pay up to 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay
- DBS certificate and SCW registration costs covered by the company
- Induction, support, and development, including comprehensive training and qualification in Health & Social Care
