Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate College Counsellor to join our team in Newtown. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and academic well-being of our students.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality counselling services to students, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualised plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, education, or social work)
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and young people
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
