About the Role:

Perthyn is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supported Living Manager to join our team in Powys. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of support workers and ensuring that individuals with complex needs receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of support workers to deliver person-centred care and support plans
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure consistency in the implementation of support plans and health plans
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, other agencies, and services to achieve positive outcomes
  • Ensure that support teams have the necessary skills and resources to help individuals with complex needs live a fulfilled life

Requirements:

  • Minimum QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience in working with individuals with mental health and communication needs, as well as learning disabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, active listening skills, and the ability to use positive, calm, and clear communication
  • Ability to work positively with other agencies, parents, support workers, and other services to ensure a quality provision of care
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing personal development

What We Offer:

  • Holiday scheme with annual leave starting at 22 days, plus Bank Holidays
  • Occupational Sick Pay: up to 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay
  • DBS Certificate and SCW Registration: costs covered by the company
  • Induction, Support, and Development: fully funded comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and qualification in Health & Social Care
