Medicines Management Role

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. We are now looking for three Medicines Management Assistants to join our pharmacy department.
Job Responsibilities- Checking patient-owned medicines for suitability and ordering replacement supplies.
- Transferring medicines from pharmacy to wards and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Minimizing missed doses by identifying available medicines on the ward and ordering supplies as needed.
- Providing information to patients and nursing staff about medications and pharmacy services.
The successful candidates will have a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff or be willing to complete this qualification. You will work closely with our team to ensure safe storage of medicines and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
This is a Band 3 position with a salary range of £21,400 - £28,840 per annum, depending on experience. You will work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and bank holidays. The job is based at Royal Preston Hospital or Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital, with free transport provided between sites.
