Job Description:

As a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, as a qualified doctor.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in ward rounds, meetings, and other clinical activities to stay updated on best practices and share expertise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to data protection policies and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified GMC registered doctor with a license to practice.
  • MBChB/MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of Foundation Training (FY1 and FY2) or relevant work experience.
  • Basic procedural competencies, including venepuncture, cannulation, and urinary catheterization.
  • BLSCertification.
