About the Role:
  • This full-time position involves taking a shared role in the development of the stroke medicine service, working closely with the management team and consultant colleagues in the department of Medicine for Older People.
  • You will be responsible for developing and supporting sub-acute rehabilitation for stroke patients in community hospitals and community settings.
  • Clinical responsibility for patients under care will be maintained in conjunction with colleagues in medicine for older people.
  • The successful candidate will develop and promote services that minimize hospital stay and maximize opportunities for recovery and independent living.
