Job Title: Senior Coroner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coroner Specialist to lead our local coroner service. The successful candidate will work closely with the coroner services manager to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, management, and efficiency skills, experience in exercising sound judgement and communicating effectively. They will also have knowledge and experience of coroner law and basic medicine, proven skills in conducting investigations, and an understanding of court procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Led the local coroner service and statutory coroner area
  • Work closely with the coroner services manager to ensure value for money, performance, and financial efficiencies
  • Conduct investigations and provide expert evidence in court

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
