Inclusive Education Assistant Wanted

About the Job

We are looking for an organized and caring individual to assist teachers in providing inclusive education to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with teachers to develop personalized plans for students with SEND.
  2. Offer support with daily routines, such as meals and bathroom breaks.
  3. Encourage social interaction among students and promote a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Previous experience working with students who have SEND, preferably in a mainstream school setting.
  2. Relevant qualification, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  3. A current DBS check (or readiness to obtain one).
  4. A strong commitment to supporting students with SEND and promoting inclusive education practices.
