Inclusive Education Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join our team of professionals who strive to provide inclusive education for students with diverse learning needs.
About the Role:
This is a non-teaching position that requires a strong understanding of special educational needs legislation, policies, and best practices. As a SENCO, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to support students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination of special educational needs provision in primary schools
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to ensure effective support for students
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on special educational needs
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure their involvement in their child's education
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Special Educational Needs or a related field
- Experience working as a SENCO or in a similar role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service
Salary:
The salary for this role is estimated at £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience.
Contract Details:
This is a long-term contract with the option to extend or "as and when". The days and hours are flexible, Monday to Friday, to suit your availability.
