The Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to join our support team for our flagship product FlexTRADER, a highly customizable multi-asset class execution management system used by top asset managers and hedge funds. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in dealing with high-profile clients and cutting-edge technology in the financial services industry.

About You

This position operates on a flexible schedule, with core hours from Monday to Thursday and a shorter day on Friday. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to FlexTrade clients worldwide and advising on queries and issues.
  • Liaising with clients to interpret queries for root cause analysis and proposing suitable workarounds and solutions.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of alerting mechanisms used for production support and being responsible for expanding monitoring coverage.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participating in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2:1 Bachelor's degree in a numerate subject, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Technical knowledge and prior experience with Linux and Shell-scripting.
  • Experience in a coding language, such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • A strong desire to learn both the business and technical aspects of the financial capital markets in which FlexTrade operates.
