About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Asset Manager to join our team at Abm. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the successful transition of newly awarded Technical Solution contracts and promote the continued compliance of existing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure all technical mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
  • Undertake Thermal Imaging surveys to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct Energy Surveys to optimise energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Perform Single Point of Failure (SPOF) analysis to identify critical components and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Identify Critical Spares inventory in conjunction with SPOF analysis to ensure business continuity.
  • Complete Plant & Equipment Lifecycle reports to inform maintenance and replacement decisions.
  • Compile Dilapidation and Asset Verification reports to ensure accurate asset valuation.
  • Collate quotes from issues identified within the Dilapidation reports to inform budgeting and planning.
  • Internal audit Technical Contract compliance to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP's) to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including compiling asset registers and printing H&S documentation as needed.
  • Provide training to sites on technical processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency.
  • Identify and escalate any issues or risks that may impact the successful delivery of the project/contract, ensuring business continuity at all times.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects and across multiple locations at any time.
  • Technical background and qualification in M&E Industry.
  • Mobilisation/Project management experience.
  • Ability to travel within business operational area at short notice.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills at all levels of management.
  • Ability to work to a programme with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and Oral.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Personal tenacity.
