Location: Remote (North London/Hertfordshire area)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Asset Workforce Limited. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, companies, and their directors. You will work closely with the Tax Juniors and Audit department to ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and practice excellent client service at all times.
  • Undertake compliance for personal and corporate clients, including preparing Corporation Tax Returns, Personal Tax Returns, Trust and Estate Returns, and forms P11D.
  • Provide briefing, supervision, and training for junior staff.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through reading and courses.
  • Assist with tax planning projects, including capital gains tax, residence, and domicile issues, trusts, etc.
  • Work with partners on one-off technical assignments for new and existing clients.
  • Be the first interface for tax/VAT enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mixed tax role.
  • Obtained ATT or CTA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Good technical skills and awareness of legislation.
  • Good working knowledge of Iris Tax products is preferred.
