About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide technical support to site managers and personnel on HSE-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the site leadership team to ensure effective management of the HSE Management System and drive a consistent approach across all HSE activities.
  • Compile compliance reports and liaise with regulators such as the Environmental Agency.
  • Provide guidance and support to departments on risk assessment programs, HSE audit and inspection programs, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment as a HSE Advisor.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK HSE legislation and its practical application.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety as a minimum.
  • Good Microsoft packages experience.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
