About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at BYLOR Joint Venture. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on health and safety regulations, legislation, and policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Investigate incidents and produce comprehensive reports to inform corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement effective safety management systems to minimize occupational risk.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and address key health and safety project risks and solutions.
  • Conduct subcontractor assessments and provide input on work-winning tenders.
  • Develop and implement behavioral tools to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in health and safety within a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of HSE&E legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Recognized HSE qualifications, including NEBOSH.
