Deputy Manager Job Description
Daisy Nook Recruitment is proud to be working alongside a privately run residential home for children (9-17 years old), with homes based in Kent. The homes cater to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our client is seeking a Deputy Manager for their home in Chatham, Medway. This is a great career opportunity, joining a growing service at a pivotal point.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in providing positive leadership and guidance to ensure the welfare of the children is paramount.
- Ensure all team members are compliant with Ofsted regulations.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the children.
- Support the team to ensure the children's stay complies with the ethos of their care plan.
- Review care plans regularly with Key workers.
- Attend training and ensure all staff attend required/relevant training.
Requirements:
- Positive experience working with children in a similar environment.
- Ability to support the Manager in providing effective leadership.
