About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our home store in Canterbury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
  • Lead and inspire a team of staff and volunteers to deliver an outstanding customer experience that reflects our values.
  • Contribute to the success of the store by ensuring the highest standards of customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising.
  • Maximize sales through physical and digital channels, and support with the recruitment and development of volunteers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to achieve expectations within campaign activities and generate stock.
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
  • Commercially driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards.
