Store Manager - Timaru Store

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Timaru store and drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

  • Lead a team of outdoor enthusiasts to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales, customer engagement, and team development.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to ensure effective store operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Represent the store and support the wider network in the development and execution of initiatives and processes.
  • Train, mentor, and coach team members to work towards goals and succession planning.

About the Role

As a Store Manager at Kathmandu, you will be responsible for leading a team of outdoor enthusiasts to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. You will develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales, customer engagement, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build sales and service through exceptional store management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive outlook.
  • Sound knowledge of retail requirements, including POS, stock control, cash handling, security, and store presentation.
  • Demonstrated experience working to targets and KPIs and fostering a high-performance culture.
